People

Marlene Spaulding

She has been employed at A.B.L.E. Families for 21 years. She started as a home visitor with the MIHOW program. Her lead by example attitude made her the obvious choice as supervisor. By developing her staff based on their individual strengths, Marlene was promoted to Site Leader. Her empathy, support, and concern for not only the families she served but the entire community lead her to the position as Interim Executive Director. Her vision, leadership, passion, and patience are only a few of the qualities which placed her as Executive Director of A.B.L.E. Families.

LeeAnn Blankenship

Her educational background brings added knowledge to our home visitation program. LeeAnn completed her Regents Bachelor and Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Marshall University. She is an exceptionally motivated self-starter and creative problem-solver who works hard and loves a challenge. Her years of experience as a social worker has helped mold her into an effective leader. She is not only driven to succeed but encourages the best in people while helping point out their strengths.
